What..... she's almost 3 years old

Jayden Skye Lawson

She really is a miracle baby, I thank God daily for our daughter. I love her laugh, her smile, her caring nature, everything about her. I can not imagine life without her anymore. As I write this, Im on a little 2 day vacation with my best buddy, which has been a blast, but I an excited to get back to Jay, and paint pictures, play puzzles, and do toddler stuff. Once you become a mother, man it changes you. Being away from her makes me miss her nighly prayer which goes "Come Lord Jesus, be our guest, let this food to us be Blessed Amen. Yes, it is a meal time prayer, but God knows she is talking to Him, and she will learn..

Canada Day Bash

Ahhh to be at the cabin right now....Our summer was a blast at my mom's new cabin. We loved the relaxation, Jayden got to be great friends with Boston and Braxton, and she turned into a fish! She would swim from sun up to sun down. A highlight for her was riding on the tube with Bossy and Brax around the lake behind the seadoo. Pretty good for 3 year olds.... We hosted an awesome Canada Day party where the Hinz's, Hanke's, and Armstrong's came. Lots of rest, poker, swimming, fireworks(which Jake freaked out about-Sarah's dog), a minor surgury on Jayden's splinter that she got lodged in her foot, trying to guess when Lisa would go into labor-she was due any day, the men almost getting kicked off the golf course due to poor sportsmanship, and many many memories. Only a short 9 months until the next Canada Day party. Hey, for you Caronport girls, look Jayden has even got the stance from her mother! I am so looking forward to the many summers spent at the Braun Cottage.

Our trip to Edmonton

Good times with cousins, friends and family. Jay loved, and I mean loved, the rides at the West Ed Galaxy Land. She even got her dad to go on the drop of doom(for kids). She rode every ride she could over and over. We had fun with Auntie Sarah, Jodi and Erika, Sarah and Graham, Aunt Bekah, Hannah and Kenya, and of course Mom and Dad. A definate alternate of Disney Land at this age!

Halloween Fun

Tonight we carved our family pumpkin. Adam searched the internet and found the perfect one for our Dora loving daughter. And I have to say....it turned out way cool. I will try to get a good picture of it for you all to see. Jayden loved scooping out the goo, and tomorrow is her playschool costume party. Fun times.

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth

This is one of my favorite pictures of Jayden. She is 9 months old here.

Moo the cow

Jayden's favorite thing to do with her dad is to go check the cows. She has her own cow, and the money from the calf each year goes into her college fund. So this year we showed her which is her cow and asked if she wanted to name it. Moo. Thats the cows name. Quite creative I think. My dad used to take me and look at the cows and feed them, and it's a memory I cherish, and am so glad that she has the chance to spend time with her dad this way. I wonder when it will hit her that the baby calf she watches grow for the whole year is what we eat at supper each night......Hmmmm we will keep that to ourselves I think
